Our fire resistant towels and blankets (also known as Duvetyn) are made out of heavy 16 ounce ”commando” grade cotton fabric that has a brushed finish on one side and smooth on the other. These materials meet California State Fire Marshal Reg. #F-48905F and are commonly used in the entertainment industry. Used to smother flames, these towels and blankets are a must for any fire performer. A great alternative to carrying around damp towels which heat very easily and can cause steam burns.
Available Sizes:
Small (Towel Sized): 27” (680mm) x 22” (560mm) For putting out small wicks such as poi, fire fingers, hoops and single wick Staffs.
Medium (Towel Sized): 36” (900mm) x 27” (680mm) For putting out medium wicks such as large poi, staffs and small fans
Large (Blanket Sized): 36” (900mm) x 54” (1370mm) ideal for larger tools with multiple wicks such as fans, dragon staffs and swords.
Note: Washing these towels and blankets will remove their fire resistance. Even if the fabric resists burning, the fuel vapors on the fabric can still ignite. Excess fuel may build up on a towel that has been used several times in a row, so allow time for the towel or blanket to dry out before trying to re-use it.

affordable effective soft.
I've used fiberglass reinforced welding blankets and I've used wet towels as well as shipping blankets and a few other types of tools for putting out fire props the most effective I've ever I had for pudding pops out was the duvetyn blankets I got from this website. They are reusable durable and last a long time and come in large sizes the only thing I wish was possible is if the stuff could be ordered in rolls by the length. Only one other fire blanket I've ever tried is comprable and that's the carbon micro mesh blankets you can get at Northern Tool but they're small and don't work very well with larger props there are also suited for welding while these blankets were specifically made for fire props when you have a tool that's made for the job it just tends to work a little bit better.

Our Company Only Uses Trick Concepts Duvetyn Towels
We began using Duvetyn Towels from Trick Concepts about six years ago - and have been VERY happy the quality of the product, as well as the great customer service and speedy delivery. Our company regularly produces and runs shows all over the country (and abroad), and if you check backstage - where you should not be, honestly, you will be in the way of our safety protocols - you will find Duvetyn Towels from Trick Concepts with our other fire safety equipment.

Great Fire Blanet
I have used fire blankets from Trick Concepts before and they are durable! I use both sized of blankets and I really like the option to get smaller sized blankets, easier for my safety to put out smaller props and my fire belt. Great option, will buy again

very nice
This is a very good product, very reasonably priced and works well. Seems to be quality and I expect it to last a long time! Plus it has a bad ass logo.

Does the trick!
I used it last weekend for a fire hoop performance and it worked out great. I love the size & weight - it makes it perfect for travel. It's big enough to do the trick, but it isn't too bulky or hard to work with.

Works as intended.
I ordered this with a poi starter kit. I have no complaints. It works as intended and is just fantastic being able to have one of these blankets on hand.
